This unique piece is dipped in wild clay foraged along the banks of Colombia’s Magdalena River. When fired, this sediment transforms into a striking matte-metallic surface that catches light like raw mineral. Moving beyond a conventional glaze, the local clay acts as a thin skin over a form built from reclaimed studio stoneware. Bridging two distinct geographies—the riverways of Colombia and a ceramic practice in Vienna—each batch of recycled clay carries its own history, ensuring no two pieces are ever exactly the same.
